This week was an unbelievable week but, BRRR was the word along with winter steelhead.
Oregon fished very well as the rivers went from blown out to no water at all.
Mid coast and Tillamook Rivers fished very well said Matt Halseth for winter Steelies. There are lots of Wild Steelies as well Hatchery ones to be had. Method of choice, Dinger Jigs, Lured Beads, and sidedrifting, Bobber dogging roe cured in ZILLABAIT was the hottest ticket.
Keep in mind the cold clear conditions make being stealthy a necessity. Check out Matt Halseth FB page. Or give Matt a call 907-209-5308.
